When do you feel completely at ease?
It might be a hot bath at the end of the day, or the time you spend talking to someone close over a cup of your favourite coffee, or watching your beloved children or pets playing. Each person has his or her own spiritual space. There is a spiritual space for you. It is my sincere hope that Yuishinji will become one of those spaces, a caring environment where you can feel at peace.
Near the entrance of Yuishinji and in the parking area, there is an open space that anyone can use at any time, called “Yuishinji Cafe.” In addition, in the temple grounds you can be refreshed by the colourful display of seasonal flowers planted and cared for by staff, believers and members of the local community.
At Yuishinji, differences between religions do not matter.
Yuishinji is an open space for all who come to visit, and none will be refused.
As the 14th Dalai Lama said,
“A single flower is beautiful. But is not a bouquet more beautiful?”
There need not be a special occasion to visit Yuishinji. You can just sit down for a minute on a bench, and relax for a while without doing anything in particular. We hope that we can help you to find peace of mind through visiting Yuishinji.
If you happen to be passing by, please feel free to drop in at the temple. Each person has a unique way of spending time here, and we would be pleased to offer you a means of refreshing your mind.
